I spent over a decade in corporate HR, working across Fortune 500 and retail companies. I know how businesses actually run, where the inefficiencies hide, and exactly what it looks like when someone's time is being wasted on something a tool could handle in minutes.

A couple of years ago I started using AI in my own business, mostly out of curiosity. I used it to grow an Instagram account from 3,000 to over 50,000 followers in about two months. That experience taught me two things. AI is genuinely transformative when you know how to use it, and almost nobody teaching it is speaking to actual, non-technical people.

Most AI content out there is written for engineers, or it's a course that promises the world and delivers a stack of jargon. I wanted something in the middle. Warm, plain-English, and built by someone who has actually used these tools to get real results, not just talked about them.

That's why I started Carrie Explains AI. I love taking something that feels complicated and making it click for someone who thought it wasn't for them. No tech background required. Just a clear next step.
